Lot clearing and forestry mowing on wooded acreage near Eau Claire in the Chippewa Valley

Lot Clearing and Forestry Mowing

Overgrown land hides good trees, swallows usable space, and makes a property feel unmanageable. Wellner Arboriculture provides lot clearing and forestry mowing across Eau Claire and the Chippewa Valley, serving homes, farms, wooded acreage, trails, field edges, and building sites.

Our goal is simple. Open the land, and protect what is worth keeping. During the estimate, we walk the property with you, flag the trees and brush that should come out, mark the trees that should stay, and talk through access and the finished look you want.

Forestry mowing is the right tool for heavy brush, saplings, invasive growth, trail corridors, and property edges. The mower grinds unwanted vegetation into mulch right where it stands, so thick undergrowth becomes open, walkable ground in a single pass.

When a job involves digging, stump grinding, or equipment near buried utilities, we coordinate utility locates through Diggers Hotline when needed, so the work is planned safely before the first machine arrives.

How a clearing job works

Every job starts with a walk-through. We study access, terrain, and how dense the brush and tree cover are, then talk through what you want the property to become.

On the work day, larger trees come down first. Brush and saplings follow, mowed or cleared in the most efficient order for the site. Our crew works carefully around trees you want to preserve, along with buildings, fences, utilities, and sensitive areas.

When clearing makes sense

Call us when brush has taken over a field edge, a trail has grown shut, a building site needs to open up, or a fence line has vanished under years of growth. Those are exactly the jobs lot clearing and forestry mowing were made for.

Common questions

Can you clear everything, or do you leave some trees?
Either. Many customers choose selective clearing, where the best trees stay and the problem growth comes out.

Do you handle rural acreage?
Yes. We work on residential lots, wooded acreage, farms, trails, and rural properties throughout the Chippewa Valley and surrounding counties.

Clearing led by tree-care judgment

Good clearing is more than removing whatever stands in the way. It takes knowing which trees should stay, which are declining, which will become tomorrow’s problem, and how to leave the land genuinely useful once the equipment rolls off.
